5M Studios was the creation of graphic designer Joey Kirk. Starting out as a journalist, Joey soon learned his skills for designing not only print products, but for online. With a passion for sports, Joey is an award-winning designer who currently resides in Chicago near Wrigley Field. He is soon to be married to his colleague, Co-Creative Director, and best friend, Chelsea Schneider.
Chelsea is a journalist by day, a brilliant copywriter and designer by night. Working for The Arizona Republic and freelancing for the Chicago Tribune among many other nationally recognized publications, Chelsea is one of the best in the Chicagoland area when it comes to creativity.
Joey and Chelsea met while working in Phoenix. They got engaged December 4, 2008, at Point Loma in San Diego, Calif. Joey tricked Chelsea into filming a “Holiday Video Card” to send out to family and friends, and got the whole thing on camera. Now they reside in Chicago with their two dogs, Brandy and Maddie. The big day is January 30, 2010, in La Jolla around the San Diego area.
